Firefly Music Festival Reviews

We had a really good weekend!!! The whole experience was fun and definitely worth doing, but yeah... the tickets felt a bit overpriced to me?? Still enjoyed it a lot, just wish it had been a little cheaper!!!

The biggest letdown for me was how bad the updates were before the festival. I kept checking the website and my email like crazy, and it still felt like important stuff either came super late or just didnt show up at all.

Plans were changing and somehow we were hearing things from random posts or other people before Firefly actually told ticket holders clearly. When you’ve got flights, hotels, rides, and all that already planned, that kind of thing is really stressful and annoying.

I totally get that big events can get messy and things happen, but basic communication shouldnt be this hard. I had a good amount of trust going in, but after this I wouldnt feel great booking again unless they seriously fix how they keep people updated...

I went to Firefly and had such a good time at first, the music and energy were great, but then the bathroom situation completely killed the mood. The toilets were overflowing, most stalls didn’t have toilet paper, and the smell was so bad you could notice it before even walking in. I know it’s a festival and things are going to get messy, so I tried not to be too dramatic about it, but it really felt like nobody was checking on them at all. Super frustrating, especially after paying so much for tickets. It ended up ruining a big part of the day for me.

I expected the water stations to be easy to use and kept stocked, but that wasn’t really the case. A lot of them were empty, and the lines at the ones that did have water were way too long. It made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

I tried to use the Firefly Festival app all weekend, it just got on my nerves. The schedule took forever to load, the maps kept freezing right when I needed them, and the notifications showed up so late they were basically pointless.
At a festival, I don’t want to stand around waiting on an app while my signal is already terrible. I ended up asking random people or using screenshots instead, which says a lot. Super frustrating

I was expecting to have a better time this year, but the whole crowd felt a little off to me. I didn’t feel super welcomed, and it kind of made it hard for me to enjoy myself the way I wanted to

My wristbands arrived way too late, which was super fun because nothing says “excited for an event” like stressing until the last minute. Support wasn’t much help either, so that was a nice little bonus. Delivery really needs to be better

The rain came down hard, it felt like the staff had no plan at all. No one seemed to know what to do, there was no clear direction, and it just kept feeling like they were completely unprepared. I get that weather can be unpredictable, but they really should’ve had some kind of plan in place. It was frustrating because the rain was bad, the response was bad, and the whole thing just felt really disorganized...

I was kind of disappointed with the merch selection. There just wasn’t much to pick from, and something about it felt a bit underwhelming...

I tried buying tickets twice and the checkout kept freezing on me. I couldnt tell if my order actually went through, which made the whole thing frustrating.

I had a good time overall, and the lineup was solid. But a few artists I really wanted to see ended up playing at the same time, which was super frustrating. The schedule felt kind of messy, like messy enough that I had to keep choosing between sets I was excited for.

My first thought was that the staff seemed genuinely nice and willing to help, which I appreciated. That said, it did take a while to actually get answers, so the whole thing felt a bit slower than I expected

I was disappointed because the stage was hard to see from where I sat. I thought it will be better, but I keep having to lean around people just to catch what was going on

the setup just made the day more stressful than it needed to be. The stages felt super far from each other, signs didn’t really help much, and we ended up missing chunks of sets just wandering around trying to figure out where to go. Even the food, bathrooms, and exits felt like they were put in random spots. Idk it just didn’t feel like anyone thought through how people would actually move around the venue

Not gonna lie, the site works, but it felt a little clunky to use. I was able to find what I needed eventually, but it took more time than I expected

I went to this event sometime in late May, or maybe early June, I can’t remember the exact date, but the crowd control was chaotic. At one point my friend needed medical help, and it felt like no one knew where to send us or who to talk to. We were stressed and trying to get someone’s attention, but support was really hard to find. It just didn’t feel safe, and I wouldn’t say it was worth going.

The website made it sound like the security setup would be organized and straightforward, but when I got there it felt totally different. The lines were messy, people didn’t seem to know where to go, and overall it didn’t feel as safe as I expected.

The festival felt really all over the place. The lines were confusing, the staff didn’t seem to know what was going on half the time, and trying to get basic info was way harder than it needed to be. It just felt like the whole day wasn’t planned very well, which was frustrating...

The campground was alright overall, but the showers and toilets literally needed some work. It wasn’t terrible, just not as clean or well-kept as I was hoping.

The drink options were limited. The menu made it sound a lot better than it actually was, but once I got there, there just wasn’t much to choose from.
